Student of the Week!

I got an award for Student of the Week today! Im so happy! Heres a scan of my award!

Yesterday was the last day of the Chinese New Year already. It seems to have gone so fast. I can't wait till Chinese New Year next year coz I will be in Singapore for it. We went to Somerville Restaurant for dinner last night and we had yusheng. The yusheng was nice but I think the ones in Singapore are still better.

I've completed both law tutorial papers for law already, no more for the rest of the term, YAY! I have to start work on my assignments, got so many to do! Sigh.......
My back is so painful!!!!!!! I can't even sit properly, and I also can't sleep properly. Hope it gets better tonight coz i have to work tmw!

I got a job!!!!

Well today started out as a normal day. We went to HK BBQ for lunch and i had my iced lemon tea which was so delicious....lol....then we decided to go visit Aunty Florence at her cafe. When we got there she said that she just fired one of her staff coz of stealing. So then daddy told her im looking for a job. Then shes like do you want to work here i was like YES! So she started training me like on the spot and i helped her serve customers coz it was really busy and she was working alone. After that she said that i can start work next Saturday. YAY! Im so happy! I think its God's will for me to work there coz i was supposed to submit my application form for the supermarket but I delayed then I told dad we should go to the cafe today. Its like fate or something hahahahha.





Youth group yesterday was so fun! We played tug-o-war the some other games and when it was free time, some of the girls started dancing and singing like karaoke. Here are some pics from school and from youth group yesterday.

7th day of Chinese New Year!

Today its the 7th day of the new year. If I was in Singapore I would be having dinner with my family now. Its been a thing to have dinner on the 7th day of the new year in my family. Apparently its also my great-grandmother's birthday. I didn't know that until my mum said so. School has been so stressful....i really need to relax! Drama and Media classes are the only things that I enjoy. I really want to quit Law and Politics!


After school it was so hot so we went to McDonalds for ice cream! Yummy! I got an oreo Mcflurry....actually I had one yesterday too......need to burn off calories now!


I cooked dinner tonight.....I cooked garlic butter prawns but the prawns weren't fresh so it didn't taste that good. I also sliced the salmon and prepared the yusheng! I prefer the Yusheng we had for reunion dinner tho....

My back is hurting so badly and so is my ankle....HELP!.....i have sports tmw too.....someone help me!

Well, after a few days of bugging my dad to buy vodka he finally did today! We went to the drive thru liquor store and bought a 4 pack of Smirnoff Ice! Im so happy! Well not as im blogging im also drinking...yippee!



Shawn tried the vodka and is now hooked to it like me....lol....ok dun know wat else to write now....oh PICTURES!!!

2nd Day of the New Year....

Well, normal school day....we got more textbooks! I swear that we really need to get lockers! Carrying all these books around hurts my shoulders! That's it, I have had enough, im going back to using normal school bags on monday. Lots of reading homework to do on the weekend....sigh.....i really really need a break!

We met up with Uncle Meng Kong and Aunty Gina for dinner, we also met up with a few other ex-church friends. There was a lion dance going on at the restaurant that we went to. It was quite different to see aussies in the lion dance group. We had Yu Sheng and it was quite nice, the rest of the food was nice too.

First Day of the Year of the Rat!

Well, its finally the Year Of The Rat! Its also the beginning of the chinese zodiac cycle again. I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year! 新年快樂! 恭喜發財! My Chinese New Year this year was pretty boring. I didn't get to go visiting as im in Perth and instead I had to go to school. It was raining so heavily today!

School wasn't that bad actually, drama class was quite fun! We had to do on the spot improvisations, it was quite challenging but also fun at the same time. English and History was just note taking. Media was quite fun too, we did some investigation. But, surprisingly, maths was the most fun today! Cassie and I went to the youth shed to work coz the other rooms were used so Pastor James let us use it. I thought that it was quite good tobe able to work in a different place for once. I got quite a lot of work done....lol....

It's finally friday tmw....this week seems to have gone so fast!

Reunion Dinner in Perth.....

Today is the last day of the pig year. Time to say goodbye to the piggie and welcome the rat! We had our reunion dinner at home by ourselves today. I really really want to be in Singapore right now. Anyway, back to my reunion dinner. I prepared the 'Prosperity Yu Sheng' and also cooked a prawn dish which i named 'Prosperity 8 Prawns'. I put the 8 in the name cos the dish consists of 8 prawns, nothing special about it, it was just Garlic Butter Prawns but it tasted quite delicious. I not praising my dishes but it was delicious! lol.... We will be having dessert soon which is Tong Yuen!

It was a normal day at school today. But the school gave us our own personal email for school use. So now i have another email. I have so many textbooks now and they are all so heavy. We really need lockers in school but Miss Pannell said that we wont be getting them this year.

First Day of Year 11.............

Well its was the first day of school today, and also the first day of year 11 for me. Pastor Mihael is principal at the moment because Mrs Thomas is on long service leave (I want one too!). The classrooms changed, the year 10 room and the photocopy room now has a wall through them separating them into 2 different classrooms. Miss Pannell is the year 10 & 11 form teacher this year. After a morning talk introduction thing, we went back to class to get our timetables. In our classroom, they got a new whiteboard that is computerized. Miss Pannell was having trouble using it as she wasn't used to it. Whenever she wrote in one spot it would appear in another. She gave up and decided to not use it today. My first class for the day was History, we didn't do any work coz of the morning talk thing and by the time we got our timetables there was only 10 minutes left of that class which was only enough for Miss Pannell to hand out the course outline. After that was English, we went through the course outline and other notes about this subject. We will be studying Romeo and Juliet first, so we started talking about Shakespeare.....BORING!.....The Foundations of Maths course has not started yet. Tomorrow, I have to go for a talk about this course, the talk will go on for 2 hours!!!! I really dont want to go....help me!!!!!!!!!!!! After recess, it was a double session of law. It was actually quite fun surprisingly....Mihael is my teacher for this subject and at certain points he was talking about things that we didn't know about and also using weird words. Apart from that, it was fun. Our lunch hour has been extended to 1 hour. That's good but lunch was soooooooooo boring. We went to Gloria Jeans for awhile to enjoy some aircon and talk to Eun and also Rachel who is now working there. After lunch, we had Drama class which we hardly did anything followed by Bible. We are doing a successful living course which is the study of Proverbs. Sounds pretty boring actually.

After school, I put up my ye man lai lai poster. Im so proud of myself, then i put up the ye man lai lai calendar and also some pics of Lam Fung. Now my wall looks so beautiful!
